Batilda Bovinae, a name which many people hated in the small village in which she grew up. Orphaned as a baby and adopted by a small passing family who owned a modest farm; Batilda’s youngest years were filled with aggression from other villagers and constant bullying from her peers due to her low intelligence. Being a Half-Orc Batilda was often picked on by the other children and found it very difficult to find friends, and due to her parents owning a farm they never had much time for her besides giving her work to do around the farm which lead to her to become very strong for her age. Naturally having nobody there for her made her believe that there can be no God to have made her live like this. She did however find some comfort in an old book about dragons, the only item she has from her deceased birth-parents, from her hours pouring over the dusty pages she learned how to speak Draconic.

As soon as she was of age Batilda signed up to the army, serving for the largest portion of her life fighting many enemies and excelling in wielding large powerful weaponry such as her weapon of choice: her monstrous Greataxe. After many years strenuously climbing the military ranks Batilda finally retired at the ripe age of 40 , more so from orders than her own choice, refusing a placement ordering troops as she preferred being in the midst of a bloody engage.

Having left the military Batilda found it very difficult to fit in to regular society again, unable to follow the laws of regular citizens but instead living by her own code of right and wrong. Occasionally she would also go into a crazed state of blind bloodlust and rage if somebody insulted her heritage or was violent in any way towards her, where she would once again wield her massive greataxe to slaughter anyone who got in her way. Due to this she was constantly on the move, and decided to become a mercenary, using her skills as a Fighter to fight for whoever had biggest purse as she passed from place to place.

Upon reaching Baldur’s Gate she came across a promising looking duo: a sorcerer and an assassin. They saw her cleaning up some undead in the graveyard and approached her asking whether she would like to work with them for a split of their profit. Surprised and suspicious Batilda agreed to join their group and is currently accepting any work with her new-found companions, hoping that eventually she will be able to integrate herself back into normal society...
