Catam turned over to the Flaming Fist

When the Red Wizards present Catam to the Fist for punishment, he is taken into custody and locked in chains. The Fist take statements from the Red Wizards and their witnesses, any that have presented themselves, or have sent sworn statements.
Upon hearing that the attack took place at the Friendly Arm Inn, the Captain frowns and looks at the Red Wizards.
"Unfortunately, the Flaming Fist do not have jurisdiction over the Friendly Arm Inn directly. We will protect any caravans passing to and from the Gate that require or ask for our assistance. And we will come to Bentley's aid should he require it, but we do not enforce laws there.
Bentley has his own guards that protect the inn and enforce the laws within those walls. The lands outside are not to be traveled upon lightly.
This Catam has broken no laws in the Ducal lands, and as such we cannot arrest or detain him. But as it stands, I believe he is still banned from the Ducal lands. I will arrange for an escort presently to have him taken to the edge of the Ducal Lands and sent packing, with a reminder that he is still currently banned, and should he violate that banishment, he will be brought up on charges.
At this time, there is little more that I can do."
With that, the Captain motions the guards by the door, who leave, taking Catam in tow.
