Moll stands at just over a mighty four feet, and is probably equally wide at the shoulder. She has thewy, tree-trunk arms and legs and a weightlifter's build.
Her hair is as black as the deep places beneath the mountains, and her eyes sparkle green as emeralds. Freckles dance across her nose.

Most days, she is garbed in a filthy smock—it had at one time been white—untied at the collar and soaked through with rancid sweat. She is often covered in black soot and metal slivers, the remainder of her outfit being a pair of ragged, plaid trousers with several unfortunate holes and rips, and a leather apron with only one shoulder strap.

When adventuring or marching to battle, Moll keeps her hefty bosom beneath an aged breastplate of well-wrought steel and wears a hauberk and skirt of chainmail. Various belts and straps of leather hold the armour together.

Her black hair is cascades down to the small of her back in a thick three-stranded plait with an simple, undecorated iron braid clasp.

Background: Moll was firstborn daughter and eldest child to a respected and powerful noble clan in Citadel Adbar. Her youth was spent making the lives of her nanny and servants miserable and bullying her younger brothers. As she grew into a young Maid, her attention turned to fighting. A stubborn and headstrong child, many were the nights her father would have to drag her into their stone mansion from brawling with lower-caste urchins in the streets of Citadel Adbar. His switchings did little to deter her from this pastime, but it was her own brother that proved her downfall.

Jealous of her strength, prowess and firstborn rights, her younger brother Varg began scheming against Moll at an early age. His plans developed over a decade, and culminated with him paying a youthful Highlander, Garett, who worked in the smithy to seduce his sister. Moll fell for the wild-bearded smith, and soon was sneaking out to see him in the nights, instead of fighting in the streets.

Varg played his final hand when he arranged for his father to find out about the liaison, and catch the two in Moll’s own bedchamber. Though she swore, truthfully, to her irate father she had not let the highlander bed her, Garett, his pockets lined with Varg’s gold, lied and said that he had. The Highlander’s perjury proved unwise, as Moll’s furious father embedded his axe firmly in Garett’s face on the spot.

Moll was disowned and sent to the Forgepriests of Moradin. There she was put through the rigours of religious study, and destined to remain cloistered among the gray-bearded dwarves who kept the lore of the Smith-god and the histories of the Dwarves through countless generations. It was among their company that she discovered much of her own clan’s heritage. While despising her imprisonment and the lecherous old priests, Moll found great solace in the strength offered by Moradin's teachings. She holds that faith deeply. Determined to forge her own future, she has escaped the clutches of the dusty clerics and plans to find her fortune beyond the mountains.

Goals: To make her fortune and seek out artifacts of her people.
