South of Candlekeep, near lighthouse.

During past weeks, on the coast south of candlekeep on the beach between lighthouse and sea cave, on many nights voices were heard talking and arguing about something and 3 sets of footprints appeared on the beach.
An observer with ability to see invisible, would see a hooded mage followed by elemental and erinyes, looking at the sea, and talking to erinyes. However, such observer was never present.
One day, their long discussions reached some conclusion. The mage laughed, and opened portal, then walked through it, followed by both devil and elemental. Portal closed and the mage was never seen again.

Your character could not witness this event, since nobody ever interacted with the mage during one of the many walks that were roleplayed. If you disagree and wish to roleplay on it, feel free to PM me with screenshot of kald walking around the coast with devil in tow.
You could find tracks, or feel disturbance (caused by opening of the portal, which was not leading to a nice place), or sense after-effect of it.

Short biography:
Born in a small village with ability to summon creatures. Starting with wolves. Got into trouble because of that ability and had to leave the village.
Improved his skill at the sword coast, and from being initially completely clueless, learned more about spellcraft. Got into trouble with multiple people due to stubborn refusal to unsummon creatures.
Pursued study of the summoning, eventually gained ability to call forth planar cohort. The moment when he was able to bring forth an imp for a first time, deeply fascinated him.
After being raised, awoke to the song of the blood, much to entertainment of one of his cohorts.
For last weeks became disgrunted and paranoid, walking around with erinyes in tow and spending more time talking with the devil than with people.
Eventually, left the plane altogether through the Gate spell, taking along his cat familiar and all the cohorts.
Notable achievements:
Killed Wyrm and multiple devourer worms.
