Background:
Morath is most unusual for any drow. He knows not his true parents but was found ... or possibly left, in The care of An outcast tribe of Half drow and other underdark outcasts living in a cave system by the surface near the city of Luskan. Raised there by his adoptive parents he knows more about the surface than most drow ever will. The tribe mostly worships ellistraee and traded with whatever Merchants passed by both from the underdark and surface. One day one of the often visiting caravans from the city of Luskan had Cleric of the war god Tempus with them. Young Morath was intriuged by this very diffenrent faith than what he knew and the cleric saw his potential. Over the years he became a faithful follower and later cleric of Tempus. One day he was asked to join a caravan to the trade city of Sshamath to scout out the city for his tribe. He left with a Drow Mallarite he met named Amir Nulen Who fascinated him even if Amir seemed a Little ... simple to him.



Goals:
His initial and somewhat naive goals was to see the drow culture and possibly find likeminded individuals to whom he would spread the word of Tempus. These illusions where quickly shattered as he began to learn how the underdark works. Now he keeps his head down and looks for people he can trust and reason with, and he has found a few. He has also gained a hatred of the house Dev'lin who are too arrogant, illogical and self destructive in his mind to be anything other than a threat to everyone and he is working on finding ways to opose them. Harbors a dream of returning to the surface caves one day but feels there is work to be done in Tempus name in Sshamath.



Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:
He is trying to find a way to spread the word of Tempus without getting killed for it.

He is working to find ways to oppose house Dev'lin

He is often seen with the Malarite Amir whom he shares a slightly antagonistic friendship with.

He plans to join a trade caravan to the surface at some point and getting in contact with a temple of Tempus

to confer with the clerics and priests about his faith and tasks in Sshamath.

Also works on making the roads of the underdark safer for those who cannot defend themselves by removing many of the monsters roaming the areas.

Tries to find a solution to stop the Stonespear goblin tribe from raiding the roads and trade caravans but has so far been unable to permanently beat them back.
