However, in fact for various reasons there was non-human blood in the line and centuries ago, before they moved to Baldur's Gate, Hendralson blood was mixed with celestial and drow. Since then the family has only married humans and the other blood has thinned to nothing more than a trace, with a slight aptitude for the arcane.
