Late in the cycle, a rather disheveled young jalil, wearing a grimy hooded cloak stained in reds and browns slowly and cautiously makes her way down the Z'orr'bauth.

Struggling to maintain a confident deliberate step and a mien of bored indifference, the jalil meanders aimlessly through the city streets, her stoic countenance often broken by apprehensive glances, puzzled squints at people or buildings, worried frustration, and occasional long stares of authentic awe.

Exotic scents and mysterious sounds drawing her in, the jalil makes her way her towards the marketplace, where at first sight of the crowded Dark Weavings Bazaar, the battered drowess' practiced demeanor instantly dissolves into a moment of wide eyed child-like wonder at the spectacle of it all. Tempted forward by fascination and astonishment, she enters the market, disinterestedly passing a vacant stall that only the day before had been occupied by an ambitious young wand crafter.

Ever the pragmatist, Phar stands idly on a street-corner, hidden in the shadows where two buildings touch in an angular intersection. Seeing the jalil meander through the bazar, acting like, in his eyes, a dumb-founded Duergar, too busy being amazed at the marvelous feats of Drow to notice his surroundings, he slowly glides away from the shadowy spot and disappears among the various customers and stalls.

Passing between two customers, Phar intercepts the jalil a few moments later, and whispers something to her while slipping a note into her hand. Just as suddenly as he appeared, he disappears into the crowd.

The jalil gives a startled wary glance as as Phar approaches, clamping her mouth down tight in a grimace to avoid crying out. Absently taking the note, the jalil then blinks a couple times and looks around in puzzled bewilderment as the jaluk disappears back into the crowded throng.

Taking a slow deep breath she once again hardens her expression, stepping out of the street and over towards a shop. With her back against the wall, she carefully glances around before discretely opening and reading the note.

Maintaining her mask of disinterest, she takes another deep breath and heads back into the throng.
