The Sshamath Mythal

Can a DM please give a definitive answer on what actions the Mythal surrounding Sshamath prevents, and in which places inside Sshamath, if any, it isn't in effect?
From what I understand, the Mythal prevents any drow of Citizen rank or higher from being harmed by anyone. This includes, but is not limited to: Attacking, hostile spellcasting, sacrifice, torture.
Is this correct?

RTVLT - Read the Vithir Lore Thread.
... or the one you participated in, in the General Discussion.
Allow me to chip in and balance this thread off a little bit:
Would the DM's agree with what is written in the lore, that Lolthites are in minority and are only tolerated when they cause no trouble? Asked by a Lolthite player too.
Would the DM's agree that if a group of Lolthites would start unrest in the town square, often attended by Charnag Maelthra, especially before a major city event, the group would be promptly put in prison and later executed?
Would the DM's agree that hitting male drow wizards in the face with bows would spark the same reaction as in the question above?
Would the DM's also agree that the above would trigger the mythal, but not adhering to that, yet knowing about it, is nothing less than god-modding?
Is ignoring NPC guards a rule breach and is it considered god-modding?
How about torturing and then killing wizards in Spider's Kiss?
Finally (not targeted at anyone in this thread), would a certain group of players find it a hypocrisy to whine about being targeted by higher levels in OOC, only to go off mouthing off to the next one they see, make themselves a target and have a valid excuse when filing in a PvP report?
Dear DM's I'm afraid you have lost control over what's going on in the UD. Please consider assigning a number of staff, immune to sweet-talking and friendships to address the volatile situation.
I have been in the UD for three years, never have I seen more players trying to gain influence over illegal means.
Yours mostly annoyed,
Servin

Extremely exaggerated. But points are taken. If you wish to address your complaints with us personally, feel free to message me. I will set you straight on those points without making it a public problem on the forums with several "Do you agree?" Type questions to the DMs.

Not going to happen. This is a public problem not just a personal experience. Feedback I have witnessed personally and/or heard from many more players.
Also you could start with what exactly do you consider 'extremely exaggerated'.

Seriously? All any of us have wanted is fun in the UD, not just for us, for everybody. Feel free to join in, or speak to me about it so I can at least diffuse the problem if I am able.

Can we get back on track and avoid the (veiled) personal jabs?
All I want to know from the DMs is what the Mythal does, in detail, so I can avoid godmodding anyone. Everthing I find is player-written stuff and a lot of it is contradicting or vague.
Difficult to not godmod the Mythal, if you don't know what it does exactly and have been told so by a DM. That's why I want to know.

This and the links underneath are the lore in power. There is nothing vague in there. It's been DM approved.
Hope it helps.

I can't find any mention of the Mythal in that post.

I am certain this applies to all players. If you have an issue, report it to the DM's. And the 'whiners' I am certain, will respond in kind. Have a good day.

There is an ongoing conversation about this so please have some patience while we sort through things. Have patience and be civil to one another. I really do not want to see this thread deteriorate. If there are issues, bring them privately to the DM team, as is standard practice.

Fixed it for you. Sorry I don't mean to disrespect, but don't expect me to spoonfeed lore to players. This is how lore works.

Obviously not, but if you have an issue you can report it to the DM's.

Umm.. Why do I feel like I can say I told you so in regard to the post I did on the mythal and how this one is going south?
Oh, I strongly believe the Temple has nothing to do with this...either.

Which one? The one under House Sshamath I got no complaints to or the other Lolthite one?
