20 monk / 10 ORder of bow WIS based

Unread post by bono_bob »

ignore obvious criticisms for its non specialiazation (except for the ability to run fast and shoot decent) I am going through with the build (Intuitive strike + Zen archery is kind of cool to me))

I just want to know if there are things I am overlooking that I do not want to miss out on like certain feats not how i could modify a different lvl arrangement and forget about intuitive strike, etc.

Well, ranged feats require high dexterity (manyshot = 17 dex, rapidshot = 13 dex, one shot = 27 dex, etc). Which kinda defeats the point of having zen archery. Would've been perfect idea IF you could use wisdom for feat requirements.

I already accepted not having one shot. Although kind of crappy knowing my starting dex 16 (going elf for bow proficency and keen senses and I figure the extra ac is always nice... reallly wanted to go human, but I figured moon elves are pretty common and its not too big of a deal for the compromise) is just 1 dex short of many shot lol (was hoping to flood all points into wisdom) Honestly though, the build allowed em to barely have improved rapid shot if no dex requirement. So I will just, just take two other feats than many shot and improved rapid shot. The precision order of bow damage should still provide high damage bonus and the high attack bonus rate would help with monk melee. With not beign able to get many short, I might have to build in a way that is slightly melee oriented so that the bow provides more of a flexibility option rather than just 'only and best way to fight'. Like Fiery fist for example. The build makes it so I have that epic wisdom based flame whatevr feat that adds 1d10 to all attack by lvl 30. Which if it does as it reads... should also add to ranged attacks.
