Greetings,
I venture on the wiki and find this class:
The Archivist (release pending)
http://bgtscc.wikia.com/wiki/Archivist
A divine scholar type, it looks to be an interesting class, allowing the casting of all cleric, druid, ranger and paladin spells using intelligence with bonus spells from wisdom. Since it learns divine spells via study much like a wizard, can I assume there is no deity requirement?

There's always a deity involved with divine magic.

Tbh I don't think the Archivist fits our timeline.
The class is something akin to what
Cadderly Bonaduce becomes near the end of the novel The Ghost King.
Rather than access magic through a divine link to a diety, the magic is accessed through a scholarly understanding of the magic wielded by your deity, something that isn't possible until the revelation of the Metatext, which happens
after the Times of Trouble.

The Archivists casts divine spells, he does not use the metatext or some form of raw magic. The magic is granted by his deity.
You could say that compared to Clerics the deity simply permits him a more flexible use of the divine energy which is granted.
Anyway, Pending release is a bit misleading in this instance. The class is done and working but we are still deciding on some balance issues. Regarding the Paladin and Ranger spells the class might learn.
