Sa'Kage here!

Long time NwN2 player but brand new to the server here! ((I just logged in less than two minutes ago!))

Some of you might remember me from Dalelands Beyond as the quiet Ranger of the Grove 'Hawkley!'

Here, I'll be playing a new type of character; Therin Grimmquill! A non-combat, sit around, foolish small town boy looking to write a book!

Feel free to poke me if you ever want to sit down and chitter! I promise, I really am quite friendly.

I look forward to meeting more folk on the server here and really getting my foothold!

May your tales be full of laughter and your songs full of joy!
That sounds pretty unique, welcome to the server little boy and good luck with your book ;).

Hello, i'm filthy newbie in the server and long time lover of DnD in pnp, video games, etc... with a insatiable fetish  for the underdark lore, races, etc.
But first I would like to heartily apologize for bumping people in game  , i will do my best to change that.
In the past weeks i played with some nice fellows in the underdark although most of the time i played from the computer at work, so i can't write properly

I looking forward to play with nice and equally power hungry drows and everything else that plays, adventure and have fun in the underdark; i've made a couple of characters that are recycled ideas from past characters i played in las mesas de Peru, but i have a lot of questions about the correct way to roleplay in game and the mechanics changed in the server .

See you gente.

I'll approach you next time I see you, we've RPed before but my subservient drow is kind of on ice at the moment so now you'll have to deal with the more standard drow K'yon ;).

So yea I'll pick you up next time I see you :)

The bumping was not a big issue, treated it as out of character but if you want to RP it is good to pay attention to these smaller things, cause they can mean nothing but can also be a tool to RP rude behavior ;).

Hello everyone, I'm new to the server, trying to learn about how all the systems work. I play a lawful neutral human monk named Saul, looking to play with a regular group.

Welcome to the server, I think there are a few monk orders out orders dedicated to the deities of that alignment.

Maybe check the factions subforums if none of them jumps you here or ingame.

Wish you tons of fun, which you'll surely have :)

Hello everybody,

Without suprises I am new here and will soon post my char bio ! I plan to play a free spirit human wizard with great thirst for knowledge... with thé potential to become a good old thirst for power, depending on how his inner torments are adressed (and if his pasts came knocking too hard on his door ahah).

Anyway, looking forward to play with you !

P.S. English isn’t my native language so I apologise in advance for the potential poor grammar/vocabulary/etc...

Hello everyone! Very excited to be here. A lot of my old NWN-fan friends started playing again and I thought I'd finally give NWN2 a try. In the past, I found NWN2 too buggy to enjoy, but I'm delighted to say that 14 years after release, it looks like the community and this server has gotten the engine under control and created a smooth, fun player experience!

I found BG while searching for a good RP community with a sufficient playerbase. Been a occassional PnP PRG player of some sort since the 80's so guess I'm somewhat a veteran, also played NWN a ton when it came out.

I'm hoping to play a stealthy monk character that functions as a scout/infiltrator type that can get in / get out of a place and gather info, acquire items, etc.

Looking forward to meeting all of you in game. I do have a number of Character build questions, but I'll save them for a different section of the forum dedicated to builds.

See you in game!

New old returning player here. Looking forward to some rp. Trying to find a good grove for a PC. Are there any adventuring guilds out there? Are there any openings in beginner campaigns?

Hey! First time delving into NWN PWs as a whole, so I'm completely new to this. I'm working on getting the game set up, and I can't wait to RP with you guys.

Hello. I played nwn2 back when it originally come out (back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth) but stopped playing sometime before the last expansion came out with the lizard people and unsure if I ever played online. I am returning because I found out about NWN1:EE for my console and then all of a sudden, the itch was back. I repurchased nwn2 on GOG (most random of place, despite a PC version of NWN:EE available on Steam) and fired it up. A week later I find this community (which I never knew about when I was originally playing this game).

I never played D&D but was introduced to it (and its mechanics) in the Baldur's Gate games, the Neverwinter games, and Knights of the Old Republic (nonMMO) games (pretty much whatever was made by Obsidian or Bioware, Bioware in the early 2000s-preEA era i mean).

I always, always, always played a Sorcerer - which is probably what I plan to start with on your server.

Anyway thank you for the inviting atmosphere and I look forward to interacting with youse and your characters.

-- PS. I saw in the character creation screen that you guys got the Dragon Disciple class to give spell-caster levels. Can that change also be found in the PrC Mod by Kaedrin? If not, would someone kindly direct me to where I can find one that does.

Also could someone confirm whether or not I can add the cls_bsplvl_<EKnight/ScholarCandlekeep> and cls_bsfeat_<of_same_class> to the Dragon Disciple row in "classes.2da" while adding said feat to the Dragon Disciple feat list (will this work or will I have to make a whole new feat that tracks RDD levels). I would like to know if the feat (for granting additional sp caster lvls) tracks the levels of the class that gave the feat in the first place or if the feat is specific for the class itself...ie if I put E Knight bsplvl and bspfeat in RDD feats and row in "classes.2da", will it give bonus spell caster level based on RDD levels (the class that gave the PC the feat) or will it only track E Knight class levels (which would be 0 if im making a 20sorc-10rdd) ? -- "my bad" and "you're welcome" for the randomly loaded question at the end of this "welcome sign" post. Thank you.

Hi! I'm fairly new to NWN2, I've played on NWN1 for a while back when I was young enough for that to be a bad thing. I've played a little bit of the main campaign just to get a hand on how to play wizards. Past roleplay experience has been through other games, discord servers, and tabletop games.
