A proclamation is sent forth by the Conclave and distributed by the City's bureaucracy and Leaflets appear in every School, Tavern, and Festhall describing the organization of a competition of spellcraft and Art!
The Spellfire tournament of 4222 SC (S'shamathan Calendar)
Mages of S'shamath, with the events of the Illithilich War several progressions in the past the time has come to once more organize a tournament in the high Art. Any inhabitant of the City may join in the festivities, or sign up. All mages are invited to demonstrate their skill and competence in S'shamath's Grand Arena. During the festivities the prices of all food and drink will be reduced by one quarter, not exceeding one hundred plak'la.
A magnificent prize has been assembled for the victor by the joint Schools of Magic. Competing mages will compete in duels of skill against one another until one party either forfeits or faints. Competitors will be kept safe from permanent harm by the City's Wards. To the victor go the spoils and eternal fame!
The tournament will commence during the last Turning of the 4222'th progression (december 2014).
- Everything is allowed!
- Participants must have a minimum of 10 wizard or sorcerer casterlevels. (disregard the practiced caster feat)
