Highest ability stat clarification

I have been here a few months now and wanted to get some clarification on that highest ability stat that can be found on an item within the item generator. I was under the impression that it might be extremely rare but is was possible to find +4 ability on an item. IE. +4 to any of the stats on any of the item slots.

Can someone help me on this matter. I have already RCR'd many many times with taking the wrong skill points or feat but I could probably min/max a little more if I knew that +3 was the only thing available.

I have found +3 cha,str, so far but nothing of +4. I probably found the nicest belt to date of my playing here right before i logged out today. I dont remember exactly what it was called. Something like belt of superior skill or something like that. I just know it had Imp Crit Heavy Xbow, Imp Crit Light Xbow, Rapid Reload, and +3 to dex on the belt.

It is indeed possible though incredibly rare. A +4 ability score will be able to appear on any slot.

Nice find.

Unless you're interested in the common +4 CON boots, I would build your character as if +4 ability didn't exist. It's so extremely rare that very few players have them, and even fewer players have such items that are actually useful (instead of being boots, halfplates or such). I doubt you get double digits on the amount of really useful +4 items on this server.

+4 con boots wern't common when I played more... intensivly. And +4 were a myth, there was perhaps one on the server.

All these new items appeared when Ivan32rus spoke about fixing the random loot generator.
