Hello, was just wondering if the Max Dex Bonus to Armor gives you AC, and what armor should a Druid wear? Assuming he has Wildshapes to use, my druid is level 5 right now.

Edit: Nevermind about the Max Dex Bonus--found that out. Still puzzled on a Druid's armor and wildshape.

When you use wildshape, the type of armor won't matter. For example, a regular fullplate or a regular cloth will give you the same AC when wildshaped. The enchantment bonus on your armor will however transfer. So if you've a +1 armor, you get +1 more AC. If you've a +4 armor, you get +4 more AC while in wildshape.

You're probably best of buying a scalemail +4 or such. Inferior armor types like that aren't used by anyone else, so you can get a +4 armor very cheaply on the auctioneer. Their price is usually below 10k.

Wait, I thought took half of the enhancement bonus for the armor/shield/deflection when wildshaped.

Only the bonus to the shield is halved.

You should stick with animal hides. IIRC, lore is druids don't wear metal armor.
