Naming rules

Unread post by Ricastle »

I was told by a fellow player that the word 'of' can't be in your characters name. I read through the rules in game and on the forums and that isn't made mention. I can see why that would be a rule though and since the player seemed quite certain it was against the rules, I figure I should ask. If it is against the rules, it would be good to add certain words that are not acceptable. 'of' being one of them, i can't think of others off the top of my head right now.

"Of" indicates a title. Even if it's a location. Those have been historically disallowed.

Thank you for the quick response. I'll have Madryk of Crownshield 's name changed then ASAP for consistency reasons.
