Background:
Ilzt'roos was born within one of the dozen or so houses in the drow city of T'lindhet in the South Eastern (And underdark) region of Faerun and started out his life as more scholarly, more than one destined for combat. When he come of age, he willingly 'lowered' himself into siring a series of halfbred children of captured Arkaiun, Shaaran and Halruaan slave women to increase the population of dominant 'Crinti' race controlling Dambrath's country.
Atleast Seven or more children total between his earlier years of age. (about 50 - 240)
- His youngest child a Crinti girl is about 15 and in 1350 DR and still living.
- His eldest child another Crinti woman born of a Halruaan slave woman, chose to take up a similar mantle of scholarly pursuits as well as the study of Arcane, much like her father, she is currently 190 years old and now quite venerable with three children of her own.
- He has a mixture of Sons and Daughters, though sired more girls then he did boys. He keeps more regular contact with his boys, but surprisingly enough tries to keep a 'presence' admist all of his children, periodically visiting the City of Dambrath's upside (Typically in the evening, albeit rarely when the sun is still up except the occasional sunset over the Bay.)
Ilzt'roos spent time around the women whom sired his children and 'persuaded' them to teach them the languages of their lands and people. He learned some variable differences between Elven and Drow from a captured Wild Elf (Who later died in a cage) and as such is able to speak with a mid to high percentage of success the tongue of his vile surface cousins.
In recent years, Ilzt'roos bargained with a younger Rattelyr Dragon of about 50 years of age herself, with a promise to help her preserve her life and any wyrmlings she might birth in her lifetime, so that she might live longer than the generally accepted age of her particular sub catagory of dragonkin (Which aren't likely to live passed 350 years old). In exchange for the teaching of the basics of Draconic dialect.
Most recently he had befriended a renegade Wizard from lands far North, whom he learned to speak the local phonics of language in the form of Illuskan. Ilzt'roos travelled by caravan with the Wizard for a time up until they were approached by Amnian Guardsman near the town of Nashkel, fearing betrayal from the Wizard, they argued and as a result a teleportation spell was cast upon Ilzt'roos, instantly teleporting him somewhere within Varalla's passage, near the Drow City of Sshamath, where begins his newest adventure.
Goals:
- Find the traitorous Ilusk Wizard and re-acquire his lost possessions.
- Find a means to 'prolong' the life of the Rattelyr dragon he met in the Shaar.
- Find something akin to 'allies' in this foreign drow city called Sshamath.
- In the absence of his 'old' and lost Spellbook, create a new one and restore his lost prowess with magic to protect himself.
- Keep a low enough profile as to not get himself needlessly killed.
- Visit his kids and grandkids someday.
