Jandar would be seen, wandering into the poorer districts of the Gate, such as the sewers and the Docks district. He would be handing out bowls and spoons made of wood and bone, tinder kits, as well as a new book he wrote "Recipes of the Sword Coast I". For any whom would care to read it, the book is a cook-book, with its recipes containing ingredients that can be found on the land, and not in merchant stalls. He would also hand out as many simple hunting bows, full body leather robes (which, he explained were for collecting honey from bees) and bone-crafted digging tools (for finding root vegetables) as he could to the poorer folks of Baldur's Gate.

Jandar would once again be seen wandering the poorer districts of Baldur's Gate. He would carry bones, wood, and sharp stones with him, and would be seen teaching any poor he could how to fashion their own tools for finding food. As well, he would encourage all he had taught to spread their knowledge among those whom did not know, so as everyone could survive better, as he explained it.
