I thought to have read about it somewhere, but I can't remember where.

What is the deal with crossbow attacks? I have two attacks per round. With my crossbow however, I only get one attack per round.

What's the deal with that, and how does it work?

Half-elves receive a special penalty for using crossbows. The Seldarine feel slighted that the half-blood would choose a range weapon that is NOT a bow, thus, you are especially slowed to 1 attack per round...FOREVER!!!!!!

Or so I was told....

I think you have to get the Rapid Reload feat to have your normal number of attacks.

I still wonder why your title is "Recognized Member of BGTSCC". "Recognized Jester of BGTSCC" would be so much more fitting

That's what I suggested to you last week!!! Rapid Reload. Also, Rapid Shot feat will give you 3 attacks per round!

I want to know the exact mechanism behind it.

There are quite a few heavy crossbows in the game with the rapid reload feat built in...you know in case you don't want to burn a feat on it

But from experience you will only ever get 3 attacks a round with the crossbow even with rapid shot and rapid reload , 4 if you have haste up.

There's also a belt, but that's very rare/expensive. IIRC they're in the Mask shop and Roaringshore and I can't recall where else - often come up in auction too.

Crossbow: Limited to 1 attack only (2 with haste)
Rapid Reload Feat: Your limit is now 2 (3 with haste)
Rapid Shot: Your limit is now 3 (4 with haste)
