How does Dimension Door work? (and why cant I cast it?)
so i made a character in a BG character test module and cant seem to cast dimension door in any valid area... how does the spell actually work?

I think it uses the same Rune system that Teleport does, though I am not sure. If it does, then you need to mark a rune before you can cast it.

It currently requires a rune linked to a location in the same area as you are in. It's going to get updated sometime to allow you to teleport to reachable locations with regular targeting too. But that hasn't happened yet.
