Ice rune spell feat

is the ice rune feat for spell casters any good?
I can offer my experience with reserve feats:
Semi-useful in the pre-epics
Not useful in the epics (not enough damage)
Not useful in a group (which, if you need a reserve feat, you will likely try to join groups often instead of soloing).
I never found reserve feats very useful...groups killed stuff too fast to pull it off, during events mobs had too much HP for it to make enough of a difference, and for soloing, its easier to buff a summon and launch an occasional AoE spell.
The above experience was with a wizard.
With a druid: you can shapeshift.
With a cleric/favored soul: you have good enough buffs to do more damage beating people up with a club, even with a WIS based cleric.
With a spirit shaman: I have no clue, but, I imagine you have better feats. Plus, you can just shoot out summon after summon after summon with a spirit shaman.
