Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

EW shows that it has hit when I use my longbow, but I don't see any damage from it each round for 5 rounds. I also can't tell if the AC is reduced by 3. Seems to work fine with two weapon fighting, I can see the damage each round but I can't tell if the -3 AC stacks with each EW hit.

This wikia page says that while you can attempt an EW attack with a ranged weapon, it has no effect.
