Background:Esrin's father is the "deviant" son of a Calimport Sultan Sharite mage who likes exotic woman. He did the mystake to fall for one of his father's experiment with air elementals and unknowingly sired a daugther. When his father learned of it, he took his slave experiment into quaranteen and when the child was viable he secretely sold both of them, the mother to a Thayan mage, Esrin as an arena gladiator-slave.

Thus Esrin grew up to the arena drill, but kept mostly apart from it because she was some wierd experiment. When she was still young she was really impressed by a desert danser slave that became like a father to her. He thaught her, and no one else, how to wield two scimitar and not open a vein doing so. Saddly he was killed before he could teach her more secret she had to find her own way of the sword.

After her mothers disparition, her father discretely sought her up, but it was only when Esrin was adult that he learned the truth. He then did her best to buy her in secret unsucessfull he paid some guards to let her escape and then met her and gave her gold in hope she could flee, but unwilling to sacrfice everything for her.

Soon after her grand-father learned she was free and hating to be stand up to but unwilling to punish his son he tried to get her captured to punish her in stead of her sire. Gratefully, a Knight of Lathander passing in the city saw the altercation when he was outside the walls for his morning prayers and saved Esrin's life. He tend to her for a few months before another team found her. The knight told her to grab his spare gear and run to the caravan coumpond a friend of his would get her to safety. She was safely hidden in a caravan to Baldur's Gate where she started to help people and hoping to experiment life for real.
