[Zaiaku]

A short, broken record of events has been scrawled into a journal kept by Zaiaku. Not all events are in order and some might be slightly exaggerated.

Surprised the boat made it into port with the way the sea heaved. The bloody dock was more treacherous then the trip itself. Defiantly an interesting city and I can see how one could get lost in it. Blasted guards, I think they were guards anyway, are everywhere it seems on the main streets. A quick detour to the back ally and side streets gave a less... Watched patch to travel about the city. Managed to find a shop that sold proper weapons. Cant be leave I was forced to leave my old ones behind. Damn captain and his "risk to the crew" rant... Guess I'm lucky enough to have found an Inn close to the docks... A fine enough place I guess. Little pricy but after that damn ship, I deserve a bit of luxury.......

The last letters trail leading to a large ink stain. Zaiaku seemed to have fallen asleep while writing this.

Quite an interesting day. The feelings of being watched were well founded for a change. Turns out the entire dock area is being watched heavily due to some kind of murder or something. Did not get much in the way of details. Will be interesting to see how this all turns out...

There are a few marks on the paper that indicate he was tapping his quill in thought before continuing.

I think I will enjoy this place more then I first thought.

I wonder what would make a deity show their face. One can have the most interesting conversations about this one topic! Who knows really. Wonder what would make Shar show...

There is an illegible scribble for the next several lines which seems to be nothing more then lots of words and names all scribbled together.

Met up with that blasted halfling again. Noticed him long before he noticed me but all I could hear was that bloody voice yelling to me. Took all my willpower not to punt him in the face.

On the plus side, the little sob is good for something...Like a meatshield. Knows some good gold finding places too.
