Confusion about Shield spell and Two-weapon defense

Hey everyone,

Another question about a feat. The two-weapon defense feat adds +shield bonus, correct? Does this stack with the arcane spell, shield? Its description says it adds +armor bonus, but it also stacks with Mage armor, and I thought I read somewhere that it is an error in the description. Does that mean it's a +shield bonus?

I've been playing a build with intent on getting the two-weapon defense traits, but if they do not stack with the spell, I need to take it in a different direction.

Thanks as always

If TWD grants +Shield, then a Shield spell will override it.

TWD is similar to the base AC of a shield. so it is similar to the +1 of a Light shield or the +2 of the heavy shield and so on. It is different that the +1,2,3 or for enchantment of the shield, therefore the TWD stacks with the shield spell
