"Six unique character classes."
Nope
Which is a shame because a proper 5e game is sorely needed.

I don't know about Upgrade but it does look promising. I like the inclusion of Inon Zur as composer.

Re: Sword Coast Legends
I hate the idea that players can see the Dungeon Master cursor. It also doens't make sense to limit the DM's actions through a 'DM Threat' loot pool. This isn't a DM Client... its a sort of evil overmind game for playing against the regular players. :/
Its a fine game by itself in all fairness. It just isn't a D&D sandbox. Its not like NWN1 / NWN2 / BG games.

Interesting. It is too bad that no one will upgrade this game. The DM client and lore makes NWN a unique game experience. A game with the DM vs the players sounds fun. Without roleplay and "classic" DMs it is another concept without long term Forgotten Realms replayability.

Re: Sword Coast Legends
Yeah we have a discussion on this game in the off topic area. Too lazy to link.
The game looks decent. I think it will be expanded on with classes, etc. But it won't be like NWN series.
What we need is a clean updated engine for NWN3 with the focus on multiplayer and modding. No idea why they never realized the popularity with NWN1 before they made NWN2.
Idiots. Missed Opportunity.

If the text is this color, I am on duty, everything else is just my humble opinion.

I just logged into Steam and SCL was available to install... woot!
There are no level 30's, only level 20's with benefits...

Re: Sword Coast Legends
I was very excited for this game. However, after playing for a bit in the Head Start access, I was so disappointed that i'm considering getting a refund.
Ninja looting, 6 character classes, skill trees, only randomly generated dungeon building. It was like diablo-lite, with a DM.
I actually found BGTSCC after being so let down with Sword Coast Legends, that i installed NWN2. I would love to see the depth of the BGTSCC world combined with the DM mechanics of Sword Coast Legends. Also, a real dungeon builder that allowed players to submit dungeons, caves, etc to the DMs for inclusion in the PW, along with quests and the like.
BGTSCC is a ton of fun, and I'm enjoying myself immensely. I hope the devs have plans to expand it and keep it going.
