Goigan Holden: First biography of a toon so here goes!

Last Name: Holden
Appearance: This gruff dwarf has a crooked helm and long beard. He stands barely 4’ 6’’ but weighs somewhere near 300 lbs. A massive great sword is strapped across his back and at times drags in the dirt behind him. He has long scars from previous battles along his arms and usually wears an assortment of whatever armor he found. He is heavily muscled and moves with more grace than many of his kind.

Age: 39
Height: 4’ 6’
Weight: 300
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Dirty Brownish red
Facial Hair Style: Epic long beard he at random tucks into armor or ties spare weapons into.
Personality Profile: He is quite dim (8int) but not stupid or rash wis (10). His Barbarian training has led him to be somewhat crass and to enjoy combat bit with a wrathful glee. His social skills and overall conversation ability are lacking (cha 6). This doesn’t come out as rude and more as simple and to the point. Though he can be a bit hard to understand and does not always think through his thoughts. He loathes most true orc’s seeing them as the evil monsters that killed his clan. He does not let this hatred blind him toward ½ orc’s or allowing others to earn his trust. He is a hard person to like but a great friend who will stand by anyone who earns his trust.
General Health: Extremely hardy and something of a survivor. Always seems to have jerky and beer. Is a rotund and strongly built dwarf.

Profession: Wanderers and seeks out anyone who needs help. Then applies great sword to the problem in hopes of helping.
Base Class & Proposed Development: Barbarian
Plans to take some fighter, Frenzied berserker, and Battle Rager. Loves to charge into combat.
Habits/Hobbies:
Habits: Has a tendency to spit when people annoy him and before scooping up his sword. Talks horribly in common and can be difficult to understand. Can never seem to keep his helm straight and charges headlong into most situations assuming he thinks he can handle it. Always smiling and generally offering help to anyone who asks. Also generally assumes everything is a sign or good luck from his god and will act on even the smallest signs.
Hobbies: Likes to collect a random assortment of gems and show them to people. Ties weapons into his beard to use in case his he drops his sword. Also likes to scavenge in the wilderness for useful herbs (survival).

Background: When he was very young his entire clan was destroyed by a marauding orc tribe. They had just begun to establish a mine hidden in the mountains. Unfortunately he was so young that he can neither remember the mines exact location or what they were mining. He escaped the raid thanks to his sister a cleric of Haela Brightaxe. She was distraught and left him in the care of a nearby temple to seek out the Orc’s who had destroyed her Family. He grew up learning the code of Brightaxe and was taught to help others anyway he could. His fighting skills and strength progressed rapidly and he was able to help the temple fend off many threats during his training. He has recently left the temple to seek out his sister and begin his life of wandering and helping others.
Goals: He really wants to find his sister and reunite his family and someday get other dwarfs to help him retake the old family mine. Though he knows now it was little more than a small group of dwarfs building a mine and nothing fancy. He also hopes to someday find a kill all of the Red Fang Orcs. After accomplishing this his goals spring up left and right as he constantly seeks to help and find those in need as his god would want. He plans to always wander and help others and hopes someday to do so with his sister.
Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:
1. Clan was killed by the Red Fang Orc Tribe. His small mountain home was demolished and he was forced to run with only two other survivors. His brother Togin Died shortly after of infection, but his sister Lindor left him in the care of the temple of Haela Brightaxe.
2. Long lost sister (possibly brother he barely remembers his death).
3. Finding clans mine could lead to a new discovery of mithral or some other rare metal that his clan was looking for, also the Orc’s could have been doing more than just wandering by perhaps they wanted the mine themselves.
4. His desire to help others could easily get him into many misadventures as he is very trusting and tends to agree to help without asking many questions.
