The Retirement of Awnrette Pylar

Amid no fanfare, pomp or circumstance the half-elf rogue known to many as Awn retires from the Baldur's Gate region of the Sword Coast. On a relaxing boat ride with no duties to speak of she crests the ocean's waves on her way to Waterdeep where she has made a new home of sorts for herself. Her fortune her own she uses her learned business sense and social graces to ingratiate herself with the wealthy of Waterdeep; her persona easily adopting that of a socialite. An armory in the small manse show-cases some of the weapons and items she used on her many adventures. In total her wealth exceeds that of a million gold coin.

Reflecting not so often on her old life as her new one dawns she thinks vaguely of the adventures and simply laughs at her fortune to come out ahead of the game. The friends and allies and the few enemies she made are not forgotten but she now concerns herself on how to best enjoy the splendors of Waterdeep and how to sail and tour the world. Perhaps she'll stop by to see Baldur's Gate and it's denizens from time to time but there is just so much more to explore. The life of a half-elf isn't to be rooted or fixed in place.

//PS: I had lots of fun playing this character with you all and I hope you did too. I'm not leaving the server and in fact I have new character concepts I want to try out!

//Cheer up mate! I really enjoyed the times we had together. Our drinking contest, the fights Lotrik got into, being with Nelwynn, random conversations outside the FAI, ect. I don't want to disparage anyone's play style but my character wasn't really designed for longevity or devotion to any order besides herself! Her goal was simply to get rich and move to an interesting city, namely Waterdeep, as a few of her friends know. Wealth being accomplished her time spent around the area seemed extraneous (and level 30 is boring imo). Also nothing is being deleted or moved to other characters so if the need or the time is right there can be appearances. I do appreciate the concern.

It's been a while since Talisen was seen in public, and when he next shows himself he hears the news of Awn's departure. He curses that he missed her and seeing her farewell, and can't help but wonder if he'll see her again someday. At least, he thinks to himself, she is getting what she always wished for.

// Sorry for being late to the party! It's been great knowing Awn, and I'll miss not seeing her around. I'll always be her squire.
