Some armor models only work on certain races?

Hello

So i created an armor for my character with the toolset and Echo was awesome and put it into the game for me, although i had to find out that the armor i got didn't look at all like the one i created. I was kind of curious why so i did some testing and i found out that some models dont work on certain races.

The NPC in the toolset you can preview the armor on is a human one which displays the armor correctly, however my char is a drow and it seems this armor doesn't work on drows.

I always wondered why some of the models from the appearance changer in the game don't get displayed on my character (on some just the basic model is displayed, on others my whole char bugs out and some parts completely dissappear) and i suppose that is for the very same reason.

Is that a general thing? Or just a bug on my end? Does anyone else have this issue or maybe even know how to fix it?

thanks

NWN2 uses 5 basic race-type* clothing/item models plus the two genders. This results in 10 model files for each item (armor/clothing, helmet, boots, and cloak). The original game content has all of the races covered for PC use. Some armors actually vary race-to-race. Most everything else uses the same appearance (skin) on appropriately scaled model.

Along comes custom content which may, or more likely not, have something for all of the races. Whatever you are wanting to use is probably one of the human-only models.

* Human, elf, gnome, dwarf, and halforc. Halfelves and halflings use human models.
