The Spellblade!

Unread post by Altonmyr »

Hello everyone, Which would you prefer? At the moment I need to keep the 1wiz 4ftr levels off the start but after that I am open to suggestions. Not going to reroll anymore so I am trying to figure out which would do it.

I was also thinking about FTR/Wiz/EK/PM

The Fighter (8), Eldritch Knight (10), Dragonslayer (7), Wizard (5). I dont think with such low DC and CL you will ahve any use of spells other than buff and debuff, Both buff and debuff spells dont need Asoc.

You have keen spell so you dont need improve critical. Better get Power attack instead.
Mendel - Ranger, Harper, Villi | Tahlaer of the High Forest | Nikos Berenicus - Initiate of the Mirari | Efialtes Rodius - Blood Magus | Olaf Garaeif - Dwarven Slayer

Spelling mistakes are purposely entered for your entertainment! ChatGPT "ruined" the fun :(

Also, keep in mind we don't have persistent spell on BG.

It all varies what you want it to have and do.

What weapon, what armor, what spells, what spell feats and so on.

There are worlds of difference between these three melee mage builds, yet they are all sword and board if you want them to be:

wiz/anointed knight/eldritch knight/asoc

sorcerer/palemaster/black guard/eldritch knight

bard/wizard/stormsinger/eldritch knight

Then there are all the varieties blending in sneak damage and so on.

Why not get creative with wizard, guildthief, eldritch knight and dragon slayer for autostill, tower shield and fullplate along with 2d6 sneak?

Bottomline, play what you envision.
"Drojal zhah obdoluth dorb'd streeak, Lueth dro zhah zhaunau dorb'd ogglin."
"Existence is empty without chaos, Life is boring without enemies." So sayeth Lady Lolth, Queen of Chaos.

Honestly what I really want is a Drow hipster/sneak spell blade that's viable solo and capable of pvp with ease. I've been searching for a good week. That's why I went with the Dragon slayer build. It's insane and pvm is so easy. It's allowing me to level with ease to hopefully rcr my dream character.

That's what you're looking for : http://nwn2db.com/build/?69292

Probably greater ruin instead of mass fowl.

Thanks for that bud. I kind of dropped some INT for dex and picked up PTWF what would be your input on this?

Also are there any tips for leveling in such a low level as a sneaker? like take invis needle or something? or just bufff up and fight head on?
