Terri Lalani slept fitfully, her breathing quickens and while her eyes are closed they flutter madly as a vision is placed into her head. frozen, Body rigid the vision fills her mind. She would surrender to the vision and begin to carefully take mental notes. Upon completion she would wake with a start and quickly pin down what she saw.
I need to speak to someone about these dreams.............. *she groans, finding some of the herbal tea Saman would have stashed away for when he has his nightmares. She would sip her tea then mutter.* Lady Elvina might know what this means. * She would make a copy of the her experience and send it to her.she gets the sensation of flying through the air with the wind strong in her hair. She is guided forward by some presence, and time and space seems inconsequential, difficult to grasp.
The white clouds darken to light gray, and from gray to an ever increasing darker shade. The landscape below flies past too rapidly to spot details, despite her keen eyes, but she does see the ranks upon ranks of undead skeletons...moving. She looks up for a brief moment, and when she looks down they're replaced with zombies oozing of disease and rot, as the landscape is transformed from barren fields into moors and swamps.
She watches the undead move in silence, but there is a nagging presence, a splinter at the back of her mind, of something unseen. She moves her head to the side, and looks behind her, but there is but a fleeting image of something...prone to decay. The image is quickly fading and replaced with more viewpoints of the undead ranks, but she feels a wrongness in it all.
She makes out some places. The fields of the dead. The high Moors. The Troll Claws, each sweeping by, coming and going. She feels her grip on the dream fading as well, and she looks around. There is something here, beyond her vision that a presence wants her to see, yet it's just beyond peripheral sight...She senses it, decay. Rot. Pestilence. A loving warmth. She looks around more frantically, trying to see, with quick movements, but it's to no avail. There is a massive skeleton with a greataxe and a greatsword among the ranks. There is a bony deformed creature tainted with madness and green light, and another skeleton in fine purple robes at the head of drowned zombies. A vampire moves in the shadows, as does other creatures, but they're in full view. Neither amounts to the presence beyond her sight, that terrible thing that must be seen yet evades sight.
She begins to slip in concentration. The landscape becomes more and more blurry, the colours mixing in a chaotic pattern. Everything goes white, and with a sudden jolt she is fully awake gasping for a deep breath.
A vision from Eilistraee. But of what?"
