Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

So... here's the idea.

Barbarian. Surface character. 40+ ab. Thundering rage. Med saves. High con. Epic dr/fast healing.

Any of you build wizards think it's possible?

Well, I'm thinking Barb 2O / Rogue 3 / anointed knight 7. But, if you could give up Evasion—which would be the builds weak spot—you could go with Barb 20 / Dervish 10. But considering the number of feats you are looking to acquire, I'd say you'll need Barb 17 / Fighter 6 / rogue 3 / bodyguard 4. The latter for best Saves but retaining high AB.

Either way, STR 25 with high CON is going to cost the build in other places.

I suppose one could settle with 23 Con. Given that both epic Dr and fast healing 1-3 only requires that much. Still. A build with two high level requiremens statewide is taxing on other fields.

Could divine champion do anything?

That proves it's barely possible to get thundering rage, EDR, Fast healing (= 7 epic feats, 25 STR, 23 CON), bad reflex save and 38 AB.

C'mon Val...at least put up something actually playable!

Psh you get epic dr level 1 and fast healing level 1, way to cheat ! Either way I feel you really have to go with the full extend rage feats, you can skip extra rage though as now there is an amulet with the feat (somehow).

Priorities are utilising the high hp. Soak up dmg via barb + epic Dr to futher allow your fast healing to recover a fair bit before things get critical. Your rage augments your dmg. Which naturally is lacking duo to the high investment in durability. Extended rage and thunder is to help make up for that loss in the above department.

Barbarian is chosen because if the rp perspective... given that a fighter could at many points be more ideal. Other classes to consider for flavor could be fist of the forest for the con = ac aspect. If one of you can find a better utility for dmg. Feel free to drop thundering rage and use those feats/levels for other utlity.

Being Scandinavian... the idea of a sroomsniffing warbrute that don't die at the first wail and has enough juice to keep it going till they tire out... well it's appealing ^^

I like these build challenges. Here is my attempt at this build trying to hit everything in the original request:

I think this is playable from 1-30. Has full UMD, listen, and tumble. It has evasion outside of rage so you could sub greater weapon focus and epic weapon focus for weapon prowess and expose weakness. I have all three levels of Epic DR but could only fit in fast healing I. The last level of whirling dervish which gives an extra reflex save and +1 AB could be subbed out for 17 barbarian for tireless rage. With some wands, mithril full plate, heavy shield and +3 gear, it could achieve a 49 AC in whirlwind rage. If you have access to a keen weapon, you could sub out improved crit for power attack.

Edit: another option which would require a slight rebuild, is if you wanted to drop greater/epic weapon focus for epic prowess/expose weakness, you could change the 10 fighter to 4 fighter/6 divine champion for 3 bonus save to all.

Might as well just go pure barbarian and get 17/- dr. If you do that as an earth genasi, you'll probably be able to fit in epic rage as well.

epic DR takes 23 or 21 CON? Wiki says 21 CON.

21. Fast healing is 21, 22 and 23 on BG (if I remember correctly). Each giving +2 regen.
