Hobbies:
☾ Meditating. Despite her short attention-span she is able to mediate as apart of her newfound faith. Often mediating in elevated places.
✩ Painting. Eve is quite the talented painter, however it would be impossible to find any piece in her name. She was a forger, making money of historical names. Her pieces are distinctive to a well trained eye, holding stronger contrasts in shading over their original. Each piece holds a hidden signature on the back, a miniscule finch.
☾ Adventuring. Eve has as strong wanderlust, and is an avid adventurer.
Background:
Genevieve was raised in Cormyr by her parents to respect the Seldarine, however she always viewed them as distant beings that did not have influence over the world. She learned to rely on herself, the concept of praising and praying to the gods seemed foreign to her. From a young age she grew a wanderlust to explore the world, and when she was old enough she left on her way.
The money from her youth and parents did not carry her far. When she grew hungry she stole from merchants who seemed wealthy. And when that was not enough she found success as a painter and later in tattooing. Making a name for herself a painter would have taken too long, and she had no intentions in settling down so she instead chose to forge historical pieces.
Her travels would take her over all reaches of Toril almost. She was weary to trust anyone too closely, relying primarily on herself. Though along her travels she did make a number of friends and picked up a lot of talents settling in regions temporarily. She targeted wealthy humans in her scams and selling of forgeries, those able to get by. It was not in a racist sense, her logic being that if she was ever found out by the time she ever returned to a region her victims would have passed away.
After many decades her unlawful days would come to an end in Waterdeep. Once again her coin purse was running low and she was in need of a new art piece to sell. Finding a piece worthy to replicate was always the most difficult part of her setup, and this time she underestimated the security of the estate she targeted. The wizard who dwelled within the residence was alerted by his familiar of Eve snooping around. Eve was caught by a bigsby grip in the middle removing a prized landscape from its frame. The wizard was unconvinced by her pleads spouting that she had planned to return the painting so he made her forge the painting directly in front of her. Impressed by the piece she created he found some respect to her talents as an artist. Though he wasn’t going to let her go free, either he was to take her to the city guard or have her make promise that she would visit faithful of Lathander in pressuring a legitimate career as an artist. It was an obvious choice to her.
She dwelled upon her promise for a few tendays contemplating simply leaving on the road again until she finally submitted and visited the order of the Sun-Soul monks. The monks welcomed her and were able to break through Eve’s hesitance and her notions towards the gods. She found that Selune teachings resonated with her. In the months to follow joining the order she finally painted her first piece in her own name and begun opening herself and her past up to the faithful there. Her identity of herself and her values began to shift as she opened up to her past and made penance for some of her crimes. In speaking of her shadowdancing abilities she had picked up on her travels was met by pressure to abandon them to fully embrace the light of Selune. Having relied on those abilities for so many years she was not ready to give up on them so quickly, viewing them as her means of independence. Eventually the pressures made her leave the monastic order and continue her travels south to Baldur’s Gate.

✩ She dislikes fortune tellers, believing all are a master of their own fates
