Where does one buy a slave...?

So I have encountered a character who has his own personal janissary slave that acts like an animal companion and fights on his behalf. Granted from what I have seen he needs no slave to defeat his foes but being a low hp warlock having such a warrior slave would be immensely useful to me. Where does one buy these slaves... I was told up in the north somewhere. Also, how much do they cost?
