Base Class & Proposed Development: Bard, Arcane archer
Habits/Hobbies: Daydreaming, making jewelry, music, reading romance stories
Languages: Elven, Common, Sylvan
Weapon of Choice: Bow, arcane magic

Background: Irwen spent most of her youth in the High Forest, where she lived with her family and friends. Sheltered from anything overly negative, or simply avoiding it by sheer luck, she has developed a rather postive and naive personality. Since young age she has been drawn towards music and beauty and seemed to have a knack for arcane arts, what led her to start practicing as a bard fairly early. But that wasn't the only thing she liked to do.

Together with her childhood friend Talion, she would travel the forest and he would teach her how to use a bow. The two of them made many good memories together and were practically inseparable. For many years they have accompanied each other on adventures and grown very close, but a rather sudden shift in his personality started turning things sour. One day he just left and she didn‘t hear from him for a long time. Feeling that she’s lost someone important, Irwen decided there was little left to learn in the High Forest and began her journey to experience new culture and expand her understanding of the world.

She headed west as she heard the closest large city was located there and before long ended up in Waterdeep. At the beginning she was overwhelmed with new sights and wonders the city had to offer, but quickly learned some life lessons. Due to her naive nature she became a target for scams and thieves, stripping her off of anything valuable in just the first week of her stay in Waterdeep. Quite depressed, and at this point desparate to gather enough coin to get by, she started looking for jobs. She tried performing in the streets, but regardless of her performing skills the songs she knew were very elven and archaic and the locals didn’t seem to appreciate them too much.

For about a couple months she lived very poorly, trying to figure out the local customs and tastes, doing some random jobs. Then one day, wandering the streets and considering what to do next, Irwen accidently wandered in to a jewelry shop and the beautiful things she saw there made her temporarily forget about her troubles. The shopkeeper spoke with her for a while and after hearing her story, and seeing Irwen’s genuine interest and appreciation of his work, offered her to work in his shop for a while. It was an offer she couldn’t refuse. Luckily enough it was not another scam, and she soon began doing minor tasks around the store. The shopkeeper was pleased with her work, and what started as a temporary position ended up with Irwen learning how to tend to and craft jewelry. But most importantly, in those few years she also learned a lot about human culture and felt ready to continue her journey, hopefully with more wisdom this time.

After saying good-byes to her friends in Waterdeep and picking up her things she traveled south, setting up in Baldur’s Gate as her next stop. That is where she awkwardly met her long-lost childhood friend again after some heartfelt conversation the two are traveling together once again.

Goals:
*explore more of Faerun
*become a well known musician and artisan
*become a part of a community again
*find out if her friendship with Talion can be fully restored

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:
*Bandit attacks or clever scammers
*She truly goes out of her way for her close friends
