Drow Monk Build

Howdy all. I'd love some feedback on my Drow monk build. I figured I would go for a dex-based monk over a wisdom based because of the natural abilities of the Drow. Expose Weakness was a goal also, due to the dex focus. I'd welcome any thoughts!

What about 8 levels of assassin instead?

That can work as well. You get sneak dice for extra damage but you cant qualify for epic dodge anymore.

That looks better.
Why you get an INT point at lvl20? Put it in DEX, lower starting DEX to 17 and put the extra 2 points on CON for extra HP or INT for skill points
Fiery fist instead of daylight adaptation maybe too

Oops. That's not meant to be an intelligence point. A relic from an earlier build idea. The daylight adaptation is necessary because of the rp idea for this char.

Sounds like an RP idea that's not going to happen, unless something changed lately.

Have you considered improved spell resistance?
When I see a drow monk, I think it's such a missed opportunity not to get it. In the latest build, instead of the 3 DEX feats. Improved Spell Resistance stacks with Drow SR (not that it is relevant with a pure monk, but still), and has the potential to really keep you safe.
SR 42 is great. Facing some epic spellcasting monsters at usually CL30-35 gives you about 50% chance to resist on average. But improved spell resistance feats increases that by 10% for each feat.
If you take 3 spell resistance feats, for SR47, then level 30 enemies (like the pit fiend in the duergar area) will only succeed 20% of the time. That's an 80% fail rate. Level 26 enemies won't even be able to hurt you with spells.
It's worth considering at least.

If possible move daylight adaptation after dodge and mobility and take SD at 10. HiPS is so good you should get it asap.

What do you mean?

He means Drow are KoS on the surface. Probably not going to have much luck rp'ing a renegade on the surface.

I know they are KOS on the surface. RPing a renegade is not my intent

It's something hopefully a little more interesting than that.
