Keep that in mind when you keep rolling lows and wonder how your character is so incompetent as to be unable to hit the broadside of that giant. Turns out, that giant knows how to defend himself and either parries those or you hit an armoured part!

This means that wizards get to look like grizzled martial experts, right?
I kid. That was a good read! Even in NWN2, the animation for a "miss" is the target dodging skillfully (not the attacker whiffing clumsily). Does the animation ever show some sort of parry or armor-blocking?
