Sooo, let us hear it.
Last thing i read:
- The uses and abuses of history - Macmillan (Interest and related to schoolwork)
- The shadow over innsmouth - H.P Lovecraft (I sometimes need a break from History)
On my nightstand:
- The Bible (Out of interest and personal belief, though i am not a conservative christian)
- The best of H.P Lovecraft collection (Big H.P Lovecraft fan)
- Odyssey - Homer (Old norwegian translation which i do not care much for)
I am curious about what the rest of you are reading, and what you last read

Last thing I read:
Fencer trilogy by K.J. Parker
it was good, but kind of weird. Need a break from Parker before I pick up the next trilogy of his.
Currently "reading":
I decided to re-read the Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson since everyone claims it's even better the second time as you notice and discover some new things. But instead of reading, I decided to give audio books a try. Audiobook gives a different perspective on some things, and it's quite enjoyable. For an example, the way that the reader gives voice to Shadowthrone really puts the character into a different "light" (

) for me.

I agree, but it takes a while getting used to

. I have only had two books on audio, and it was Harry Potter and the philosophers stone and chamber of secrets. The quality was fair, but it was like watching a movie in 3D for the first time, it takes some time before you get used to it

.
I haven't read any of the books you mention, but i have heard Steven Erikson is a good author.

yeah, admitting to owning Dreaming in Code is a little embarrassing
seriously though... I have a lot of different interests, things like women's studies, gender and sexuality, comparitve religion and mythology, software development, philosophy and ethics, fiction especially Lovecraft, BtVS, forgotten realms
