Item got cursed in the Nexus

So I was muling, like you do. I had just transferred some items to a character in the Nexus via a campfire when I for some reason change my mind and decide to move some things back. But then I notice that one of the items can't be moved... it's been cursed! In a campfire in the Nexus!
I hope the stats on it come back... if they don't, thankfully it wasn't some epic item.
And here I was thinking campfires were
safer to use since you didn't risk items vanishing in trade window bugs...

Curses on items dont always appear instantly. The stats wont come back, since it was a cursed item. The curse was not identified instantly.

Really? I'm pretty sure I've equipped it and everything on another character... That is so weird. What identifies a curse? Lore?

Now, I never had this happen to me. And I very much doubt, that a curse doesn't appear upon equipping it.
It sounds more like a glitch, bug.

Lore does not identify curses. I believe spellcraft does.

There are curses that lay dormant for a while and some that trigger on/off from time to time.

It has happened to me, more than once. On some really good items
That shucks. Good thing it must be very rare then.
