Feast of the Moon, Eilistraeen event

[The Circle of Song]

All those who wish to show their thanks to the Dark Maiden and receive her blessings are welcome and invited to join us in celebration, praise and remembrance beneath winter's first full moon.

Our celebration will include performing the Rite of Rebirth and witnessing of Sword Oaths for those who wish to embrace the goddess then a hunt, followed by feasting, dancing and song.


The in-game calendar places the Feast of the Moon between Uktar 30 and Nightal 1, which for us in the real world should probably line up with Tuesday, December 1st.

Since this falls during a weekday, and we realize that because of time-zones and player's schedules, not everyone who might want to be involved is available to at the same time.

However, we would like to be flexible and supportive, and will try to schedule the event when the most people are available, including the option to push things back towards the weekend.

A gaunt svirfneblin is seen loitering near the festival site. Our intention is that our celebration is planned to take place in a remote area on the surface, beneath the light of the moon as our goddess encourages, with IC transportation provided to the faithful.

oocly, we are having some scheduling issues at the moment and still aren't sure when we will have the event.

your post brings up a very good point though, that not all Eilistraeens will be willing or able to travel with us, and some might quietly observe the Dark Maiden's holy day in the Underdark.

When the masked figure starts walking towards the portal, if someone had been looking to a near alley, it would have been noticeable that a second masked figure appeared from nowhere, like taking form from the shadows. This figure, covered in a dark cloak that does not allow to guess a single feature of it, watches how the first one steps into the portal and, after a gleam on the deeps of its hood, it dissapears again, melting into the shadows of the alley.
