Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

Hey everyone, I'm new to the server and so I may have overlooked something, but I'm fairly certain I've attempted connecting from every angle.
I've downloaded all of the .hak files and unzipped them to the hak folder within the root folder, and I've also tried uncompressing the files and then moving them manually -- neither of which has worked and has yielded the same result -- "Cannot download Campaign.cam".
Also my client is up to date.

Any ideas or suggestions? Perhaps my hak files are out of date?

We have been experiencing some ddos attacks. Is it possible you simply need to try again when the server is up?

Thanks for the quick reply -- I don't think so, because my friend is logged in and playing at present.

My theory is that there's a campaign (.CAM) file for this server that isn't being properly downloaded by the autodownloader -- would you happen to know if such a file exists to be downloaded?

The auto downloader works fine. As Chad said the server is having DDOS attacks that create timeout issues and lag that will stop things like DLing the server and even logging in. If you can get in then it takes 10s of minutes to transition from map to map and fighting is out of the question you can get stuck in frames for up to 30 minutes waiting for it to catch up.

You can have mine. Just place it in your ~/Documents/Neverwinter Nights 2/Campaigns/BG/ directory and the rest of the files should be able to download.
That's what 2 friends of mine did and they could DL the files normally.

Not very likely, though I'm not discounting the possibility. My friend was able to connect flawlessly seconds ago, and I never even got to the log in stage.

Also just so you know, the autodownloader doesn't work, but that's ok.

Some new players are having issues with the Campaign.cam download. We know about the trouble, but we're not really sure what's causing it at the moment (as it's not a file that Duster's touched in recent updates).

We're looking into it. For now, though, just let the DMs know if you're unable to download this file and you happen to read this post. We'll get you the file.

I've been away for months (maybe even longer! ). Just got a new rig recently and thought of doing some good old RP. Same situation as Ajax above; got stuck at campaign.cam error before any download could even begin.

This is the file in question, which Duster47 was kind enough to upload:

Extract the RAR then place the entire folder (BG) into MyDocuments/NeverwinterNights2/Campaign folder.

About midway through, I got another popup error message saying:

Could not load the Module
Missing required HAK file.
"bg_pi_unique.hak"
"bg_pi_orcfemales1.hak"
"bg_pi_halfelfmales1.hak"
"bg_pi_halfelffemales1.hak"
"bg_pi_gnomemale1.hak"
"bg_pi_genmale1.hak"
"bg_pi_genfem1.hak"
"bg_pi_elfexpansion1.hak"
"bg_pi_dwarffemales1.hak"
"bg_pi_assmale1.hak"

And the download won't continue from there.

Is there some way I can get those specific HAKs?

Shad and Endelyon both uploaded complete versions of all the haks. The dropbox links up at the top are just specific large haks that people traditionally have issues with if their Internet is a little slower or their connection with the server is weak for a variety of other reasons. (I can never get the larger hak files from the autodownloader myself).

campaign.cam file is fixed now.
Somehow the file went missing from out ftp (autodownloader side).
