ONE: Devil's advocate for defending IB?! When Ro/Asn/IB is considered the "standard" way to go build in view of AC, AB, SA/DA dice, Feint options and spellbook? Why do you post, again? Aside from picking up a fight, that is...cause you're burned out...
That build is considered standard cous you dont realy have mutch els to take besides IB.

Invisible Blade - A defensive PRC for rogues ( and others )
-
http://nwn2db.com/build/?117053 - Perfect starter build for those not familiar with playing rogues. The AC can end to 45-48 with NO umd.
Guild Thief - A PRC boosting Feint and a couple of bonus feats to help with wherever your build is hurting
- Rogue/Assassin/GT, if SD is taken instead of Assassin the combinations are limitless. Warlock for higher bluff, Monk for more DPS, AC and saves, Bodyguard for high BAB and saves
Wilderness Stalker - Ranger abilities for Rogues. A High BAB PRC, with some bonus AC(+2), 3d6SA, Swift Tracker - an excellent aid for rogues for PvE, High FORT saves and camouflage
Whirling Dervish - PRC with good synergy with SD. 3d6SA, +2AB, +1AC and defensive roll ( prereq for Epic Dodge )
Bodyguard - 2d6SA, 10% speed increase and High BAB. Very good Prc if you have 3levels to spare. With Rogue16/Assassin8 there are only 6levels available for extra classes so Bodyguard fits here perfectly. With Rogue/SD there is more maneuverability to multiclass.
These are 5 PRCS not counting Assassin and SD. Then there are other classes that you can multiclass with ( warlock, fighter, monk etc ).
Saying that there is nothing else is false.

GT is alright for a feinter indeed , but nothing more then alright.

Yes Wilderness Stalker is great.

I never knew about Bodyguard thanks!

You missed GFK i gues but they dont get all there flavor as they dont get true sight here though thats a other discusion
This is pretty mutch the reason i make this post as what i realy want is to make a duel wield melee rogue with no fighter levels and still be able to hit stuff more then 50% of the time but so far i just find that i miss classes i played on other servers like the dread commando and nightsong enforcer.

Try Thorsson's build to begin with. It is an easy build to play and really works. Once you familiarize yourself with the mechanics, you can change it to what you have in mind

This is a different build by Thorson that I recommend, you have to adjust it for BG to have 3 SD by level 20, but I guarantee you , you will love it. I've played this build on several servers and it is very easy to roll and enjoyable to play. Most times it ends up being my strongest build as far as damage output and survivability.

good luck.
*edit* and there's the one m3ntalist recommends too since I am half awake and can't read lol sorry

Aside from the alternatives proposed by the eminent people in the thread (Mrm3ntalist, Lisa, Thorsson indirectly), who are all better builders than me, I would like to remind you one thing: BGTSCC is not geared like other servers, as far as mobs and areas are concerned.
Enemies on BGTSCC tend to have low AC and low AB, but high HP and pretty decent damage and saves.
Ro16/Asn9/IB5 gives you all you need: a high BAB Rogue that hits really a lot (given how the server is set up), gets hit rarely due to its good AC (again, with respect to how mobs work here), has excellent synergies going (INT giving more AC and DA DC, and self-buffed by Assassin's Spellbook...good SA number, aside from Bleeding Wound...Feint options...good number of skill points) and to be fair, doesn't have issues to perform very well on the server.
Personally speaking, I played a Ro16/SD3/Tempest5/WD6, which is inferior to the above by quite a lot, but still a decent build. I leveled from 1 to 30 in four months, dying a grand total of 6 times. The build was low on the damage side (only 10 SA), it had lower AC than the above IB would, and the same AB (5 Tempest for 5 IB): it had zero problems hitting things with PTWF, even in the highest epic areas. Unbuffed, you usually hit top-tier mobs very often with your entire first flurry.
If you begin to use buffs (self or from party. Especially haste, even from uses/day items), any high SA dice Assassin build is a death machine.
Your problem is NEVER hitting things on BGTSCC: your problem is to avoid being instantly destroyed by spells and abilities due to your horrid saves. Careful positioning and management of distances helps a lot.

There you go, bump the thread, propose new classes revisit arguments for the already proposed classes etc.

Hi. I'm not sure this is what you are after, but if you are having difficulty with rogues in PvE, I found a ranged sneak to be easier since your quarry never really gets close enough to hurt you. My ranged sneak uses a longbow. He's an elf and the build is Rogue 3/Fighter 8/Assassin 9/Arcane Archer 10.
There are other, even more powerful archer sneaks, but you don't get HIPS until later, making them rather challenging to level.
If this solves your problem and you want more on the build, let me know and I'd be happy to share it.

Fighter/Assassin/Arcane Archer/X is very powerful; but there are weaknesses - no EP and there are a number of defences against ranged attacks. F/Asn/EA/X with Xbow Sniper is better against sneak immunes, although not as strong against anything else.
Both are very high AB sneakers. Referring to another thread, such builds should certainly not be able to get EP; but that doesn't mean that it shouldn't be available in some way to anything other than Rogue 10.
