Nexus Portal or RCR NPC in the world

Pretty much what the name says, so that people can RCR without DM intervention or having to wait 6+ hours to reset.

well since everyone starts in the nexus there is little reason to go back till a reset
and one would think if someone knows they are going to need to rcr, or change anything else for that matter, they are not going to jump in game before its done
and then for those who will have to find out if they want to rcr, its not like they are going to do it with some low level most of the time and if so then they can just wait or start all over since they are still low level
allowing people back into the nexus will just create the ability for people to start one something that is really easy to level at the start and once they get the xp they need to skip pass the painful levels of the build they actually want, they will just go back and start over whenever they feel like
and if thats the case then they can just wait like everyone else

And there's the free teleport to home locations, soubar, roaringshore, fai, eastern farmlands.

The nexus has always been handled as an OOC area. Having a portal to the nexus in the game world brings an OOC action/object into IC areas. This makes it complicated.

There is a way to port back to nexus without DM intervention already. Whether it is permissible or not is another question. . . (and quite frankly, I don't really see it as game breaking or exploitative, and would save the DM team significant headaches).

Its not permissible. Return to the nexus allows teleporting around the world swiftly by use of Mystra/Shaundakul. Pretty much what mrieder79 said!

Oh yes, good point about that Golem. Thank you for the clarification.
I'm not of the mind to exploit such things anyway. I think if players could regulate themselves in such a manner it would be fine. Unfortunately, there will always be those who find cracks in the system and abuse it for all its worth. Hence the DM team's position on the matter.
