Not sure if this is the correct place to post this or not

I am not new to NWN as whole but I would really love to get into an RP server and after looking around a bit this server seems to be the most active and welcoming to new players. Now I would like to know how welcoming the player base here is to someone that is new to RPing in general. I don't want to waste anyone's time if you all are looking more experienced RPer's for the server.

Welcome.

You can post what you posted in "Comunity" thread but that's fine.

Welcome to RP world!

My advice is to get aquainted with the lore and the setting before going on with a complicated RP based class like priest and paladins.

Try the best you can, and people should be patient and help you if you need guidelines and advices.

HAve fun and welcome again!

in the game you will have a toolbar near the top of your screen, there should be a button that will allow you to enter a description for your character i think it says edit Bio, im not sure. In the description just put that your new to RP the server and TFR lore or soemthing to that effect and im sure people will send you tells offering to help :).

In character, some of my characters will help you with whatever you need (provided you aren't blatantly evil.) Other characters of mine will help if it helps them obtain their own goal (provided you aren't blatantly evil.) It is up to you to figure out which characters are genuinely good and which ones only serve themselves.

Out of character, I am more than happy to help you with any questions you may have. See my signature below for my 4 most commonly used toons.

Welcome!

Tips:

Turn on Search or Tracking to walk around instead of running all the time in town or indoors.

Use asterisks **action** to denote actions in RP.

// or (( means 'out of character talking'

The hangout spots are the campfire at the Eastern Farmlands and the campfire just outside the Friendly Arms Inn which is south of the the Eastern Farmlands- the road to the FAI is dangerous solo for very low level characters, though.

I highly suggest asking IC about organizations and looking into joining one or more of them. I also highly suggest asking as many questions about the area IC as you can: "I'm from Daggerford a ways from here. I haven't met many people yet and I'm looking for work. I know how to do this and this. Any suggestions, friend?"

Buy 'refreshing water' and magic food from Farmer Jorn in the Eastern Farmlands. Refreshing water is -extremely- refreshing! :p

I'm sure most people are willing to help you out of character, despite how their character may treat your character in game. Sending a simple message telling that you are new and want some help with somethig goes a long way. There's still a human behind the most fearsome orc warrior who is just looking to have a good time. Welcome to the Server and have fun!

For character concepts easiest place to start looking would be the forgotten realms wiki and the lore of the lands section here in the forums.

If you have any questions about dwarven lore for that dwarf you are going to play I can help :D

*starts throwing a beard, pickaxe, alestein, plate armor, hand axe, waraxes, greataxe, battleaxe, axe body spray, throwing axes, heavy shield, and an urgrosh at Cyrindil*

There! Now you can't say no.
