What are great assassin builds?

Hi so I'm considering making an evil rogue/assassin and was wondering what build goes well with these two classes. Thanks!

inivisible blade also works well for a little AC bonus. Especially good if you are going to add feint into the mix.

Another classic is Fighter 8/ Elemental Archer 4/Assassin 9/Arcane Archer 9 for some big damage multishots, but that doesn't have any rogue in it. Rogue/Assassin/Invisible blade is the go-to build. One of the build monkeys might even post an example for you.

R16/IB5/A9 is the baseline for a perfect TWF assassin build to gain epic precision, epic dodge, decent ac and assassin goodness.

Monk/Assn
F/Assn/AA (any other class you might pick)
Wizard/EK/Assn/AT
F/Swash/Assn (any other class you might pick)

Any ranged attacker works with Fighter/Assassin or Bard/Assassin as the base. Fighter/Assassin builds also work well with TWF; key to all these is making sure that you can do some damage to sneak immunes.

Just as a heads up, the prevalence of DR mobs on this server will likely leave you less than impressed with IB builds.

IB is for AC and AB. The Bleeding damage is just an occasional extra.

Hmm would it maybe be better to replace IB with fighter for bonus feats or no?

It's an option, but IB adds 5 AC (16 Int +4 Fox's Assassin Spell), which is more important.

It's not as important as you might think. You get quite a long way with UMDing mirror images (80ish gold per scroll) and displacement (don't remember the cost, but also cheapish [and as assassin, you get greater invisibility anyways!]), and having epic dodge and HiPS.
It's certainly nice to have AC, though.

IB will bypass weapon type DR if you have the correct weapon equipped, eg cold iron or alchemical silver
