Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

The requirements for the warlock epic feat Eldridge Master for BG is "The 16 Warlock level prerequisite is now replaced with Eldritch Blast (9D6)."

Problem is, in a 3 by 20 build of 27 Warlock/3 Dragonslayer, you are not offered eldridge master at 21 despite getting 9d6 blast at 8th level. In my other build with this combo, I had to wait until 23 to get eldridge master.

The other requirement of having 24 spellcraft is met at level 21 with this split.

So, that leads me to believe something is wrong with leveling. I'd appreciate someone reviewing this as I am probably going to soon RCR a 30 for this build and would hate to find I can't again get EM at 21.

Eldritch blast die are added at the end of the levelling process, that last screen that lists the changes. This is the game mechanics so technically I guess its working as intended and I'm not sure if its anything that can be amended by the devs.

The 1 DS lvl in your build which doesn't upgrade the blast die means you don't get 9d6 until after you have picked your lvl 21 feat. Its one of the drawbacks of adding another class in your build rather than going pure warlock.

Advice? - You either have to add a feat in your build plan to up your blast dice (The heritage feats, or even practised invoker will do it), or just accept Eld Master at lvl 23.

If it helps my UD toon wont get it till lvl 23 and its not slowed him down much, you still get to pick a different epic feat at 21 and the additional blast die is only 4d6 for 13d6 total (avg 12 additional damage?). At lvl 23 you'll get 10d6 + the Eldritch Master for 15d6, which is when it starts getting nice

Other than the above I can only think off going pure warlock to get it at 21.
