Spikes problem

Hello, Got some weird problem. Never had it before on any server. I was playing here also before and nothing. Since few days I suffer spikes, hard one only when I walk. As I see others also spike when I watch them. Fighting is normal, game runs smooth and without any problem. Only walking; /
Anyone know what might cause that? maybe resolution/some graphic settings, or game corrupted? or...I got no idea 0.o

Something like this can happen because of predictive movement, but that shouldn't happen in single player. Does it look like 'rubber-banding' at all? (you suddenly go back to where you were a couple of seconds earlier)

Have you installed anything new a few days ago? Have you tried any other games to see if they have problems?

Nono Its only in NWN. And no it does not make me come back to previous spots. Its like i would deal with low fps or something. Really big spikes while me or someone is walking on my screen, fight is normal. I read something that probably its because I'm on win 8 so 64 bit can cause some problems

My stuttering issues previously stemmed from vendor middleware.

Good call AoS. All sorts of crap gets installed on your computer these days by "helpful" manufacturers.

Run Task Manager (which you can bring up by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del) and select the Start-Up tab; you can see there what loads at startup - anything enabled - and try disabling services to see if that helps. You can usually Google them to find out what they do if you're unsure if they need to load or not (very little is actually necessary and I've disabled about 80% of mine).

Ok. Solved the problem with client extension. Something was probably bugged in my client and after I downloaded client extension game runs smooth^^

Good stuff. I love the CE; never had any problems since I started using it.
