Favored Soul of Gond not getting martial weapon proficiency

My favored of Gond can not use martial weapons, (including warhammer), even though he now in level three has gained warhammer proficiency. He has never been able to use any martial weapons, which as far as I can tall, should be able to, because a favored soul gains the weapon class proficiency their deity's favored weapon is in.

Hi Neomenga. I just leveled quickly a gnome FS of gond to level 10 and the character was able to equip a warhammer.
Are there any limitations to the Warhammer? Such as higher level required or only usable by...

I think neon avenger has it. One of my toons is a gondian FS and has never had problems with his warhammer (except the time it got lodged in the frost king's skull)

Indeed. I have an FS of Gond and the ladies love the way he wields his warhammer.

Ahh.. I press back a thousand times during each character creation. Ill have to find a DM to correct it someday.
