pfffffffft, what a weak willed and stupid ogre. Next time "adventurers" walk into town, that ogre is dead. Not only is he a nice chunk of XP, he also carries a shiny sword.

Now if the ogre was intelligent he would have waltzed into that village on day one and told them "I will live in your village. You will feed me and give me 50% of your earnings for 'protection'". He would then proceed to hire those bandits from the roads as his underling thugs and he would build a racketeering empire, spreading throughout the land. He would not just be another ogre in the path of our "adventurers", he would be the BBEG!
