noticed when killing the boss that the spawns around him disapeared at the same time. revisiting boss area at the chests a few minutes later boss Lizard was not there when fighting a few spawns one of them disapeared when in battle. pretty odd

I've not had any issues with this myself, and I've been grinding there very frequently over the last few days (and several hours today after the patch).

I have however noticed something similar happening in the troll Sea Cave, where after a very long battle with the two-headed boss (cursed regen), he despawned mid-battle. I think it might simply be something that happens when a mob is 'active' for a sufficient length of time, it probably just despawns.

If you take too long time to defeat a boss creature, he will de-spawn.

And if you linger around, a new one with a fresh HP pool will spawn in its stead!

It is a feature, not a problem. The boss retreats... fighter faster/harder! Closed.
