The concept of an unarmed, unarmored wanderer offering healing and counsel appeals to me.
While I'm still developping the character himself, Hierophant has yet to be re-released(Great work btw Dev's/QC team!) So I've come up with a build in the meantime, with the help of a friend.
The idea is a superb healer and support character who can also throw down in a pinch, with spell or fist, and has decent survivability.
http://nwn2db.com/build/?234473 ::edited to have 7th lvl. divine spells before taking Hiero lvls::
I think this is a nice balance between mechanical power and the concept I have in mind.
I do have a couple of questions for the resident build experts, though:
1.Would I be better off taking one less Wisdom in exchange for Mass Epic Heal?
I would lose a 3rd and 6th lvl spell-slot, 1 DC on my spells, and 1 AC in exchange.
2. What about taking Epic skill focus: Heal instead of the extra wisdom?
The toon does not wear armor, and with a (base) Str of 14, he will be able to carry enough kits. Same sacrifices as above.
3. Are +4 stat. items realistically obtainable?
I've been playing here for 3 years, and have never owned one myself, so I was wondering..
Acquiring one of these would allow me to both get an epic feat listed above and maintain my wisdom bonuses
Also, any suggestions are welcome!
Healer build.

Re: Healer build.
+4 stat items are exceedingly rare, but you could easily use a +2 item and cast extend owls wisdom to gain the benefit of DC's (but not bonus spell slots). Epic mass heal is not the greatest epic spell, but based on your description it would make sense for your pc to eventually have it.
Heirophant is great because you can use spell power 1-3 to make up for some shortcomings and use turn undead to improve caster levels as well. Therefore you can go full charisma turn undead focus and still manage ok DC's our by going full wisdom and grabbing evocation focus end up with some pretty monster dc's.

Or more correctly it's not enabled.Mac wrote:I may be wrong about this, But I think epic skill focus is disabled on BG?2. What about taking Epic skill focus: Heal instead of the extra wisdom?
+4 stat items are rarer than hen's teeth. Do not plan a character around them.

It is, at least for some skills. What about taking Epic skill focus: Heal instead of the extra wisdom?

Epic Skill Focus (21st level, 20 ranks in the skill) Adds +10 to your chosen skill.
This feat is only available for Heal, Diplomacy, Intimidate and Survival.

Re: Healer build.
There are some skills with +4 items being relatively easy to obtain, but the question was regarding +4 stat items, those being rare enough to consider them non-existent...might be you are as likely to win the lottery.Mac wrote:True as this statement is, There is a +4 healing belt for sale in BG place district.+4 stat items are exceedingly rare,
